Ink Review De Atramentis Frankincense

Pen: Pilot Metropolitan Medium Stub
Paper: Rhodia #18 Ice with Grid Lines

This is another great grey ink. De Atramentis Frankincense is a little more on the dry side than J. Herbin Stormy Grey but still functions well. It is not a very saturated ink so it's possible to get some shading when you write. It even worked great with my Field Notes notebook and any cheap paper I write with at work. De Atramentis Frankincense was a quick drying ink and made using it everyday so much better. I think with a finer nib you this ink would appear even darker.

This ink is one of De Atrementis's scented inks. The frankincense scent is very subtle and you really have to get your nose to the paper to smell it.

I also made a "opps on this one but i'm not overly concerned it's the nature of the writing things out by hand.
