Pen: Lamy Safari Medium and Karas Kustoms INK Fine
Paper: Rhodia N.18 Grid Line
I'm going through a back log of ink journal pages I did some time ago. This week I have Diamine Evergreen which is a nice dark green. I find that the name of the ink does a great job on matching the color. Diamine Evergreen has become one of my inks that I use almost all the time. It's dark enough for me to use at work but has enough warmth and color to make using it fun. On Rhodia paper has some shading but not a lot. The ink does take time to dry somewhere between 10 and 15 seconds depending on what nib sizes you are using.
Georgia Pacific 75g Front/Back
Diamine Evergreen works well with cheap copy paper. I had little to no fathering and the ink had some good dry times. With moving to the cheaper paper you do loose the little bit of shading that you got with the Rhodia paper. Diamine Evergreen does bleed through the paper but I had little to no feathering when writing on the copy paper. When doing a water and coffee test the ink did not hold up and my writing did fade away.
Hammermill 90g Front/Back
On the 90g copy paper they ink dried slower than the cheap copy paper but faster than Rhodia. I had some show through but not a lot and no feathering. I had the most bleed through when I did multiple passes with the ink. I did have a little shading with the 90g paper but not a whole lot. Diamine Evergreen is just not going to hold up well to liquid. As you can see water and coffee starts to make this ink fade away.
